2. Reading Passage: Who is Generation Alpha?

Generation Alpha refers to young people born from the year 2010 onwards. Unlike previous generations, Gen Alpha are true digital natives. From a very young age, they have interacted with touchscreens, voice assistants, and smart apps.

Members of Gen Alpha are exceptionally tech-savvy. They often use tablets for school projects, stream educational podcasts, and learn coding before high school. However, doctors emphasize the importance of keeping a healthy balance. Spending too much screen time can lead to tired eyes and less physical activity.

Smart students know how to create healthy routines. They always make time for sports, family conversations, and reading printed books alongside their digital pursuits.

3. Language Focus: Adverbs of Frequency

Usage Rule:

We use Adverbs of Frequency to show how often an action happens. They are placed before the main verb, but after the verb to be (am / is / are).

Adverb Frequency Example Sentence
always 100% I always turn off my tablet before sleeping.
usually 80% Nour usually finishes her homework online before dinner.
often 70% We often listen to science podcasts on weekends.
sometimes 50% Omar sometimes plays video games with his cousin.
hardly ever 10% They hardly ever leave notifications on during study hours.
never 0% I never share my personal passwords with strangers.
