Emotions, Daily Life & Present Continuous: Expressing Current Feelings and Actions
Welcome to Unit 2 of English Connect for Preparatory 2! In this lesson, we explore the vibrant world of feelings, emotions, and personal well-being. We learn how to express our mood accurately using precise adjectives such as joyful, anxious, exhausted, confident, and grateful. We also master the Present Continuous tense (am/is/are + verb-ing) to describe actions happening right now at the moment of speaking or temporary situations in our daily routine. Understanding our emotions and communicating them clearly is an essential life skill that strengthens our relationships, fosters empathy, and enables us to support our classmates and community members when they need help.
