Magnetic Power: Poles, Attraction, and Magnetic Materials 🧲📌
Did you know that some forces can move objects without even touching them? Meet the fascinating world of 'magnets'! Every magnet has an invisible magnetic field and two distinct ends called 'poles': a North Pole (marked N, usually painted red) and a South Pole (marked S, usually painted blue). When opposite poles meet (North and South), they pull together with a strong force called 'attraction'! But when like poles meet (North to North, or South to South), they push each other away in a force called 'repulsion'!
🧲 Magnetic Poles Rule
- 🔴 North Pole (N) & 🔵 South Pole (S).
- 🧲 Opposite poles attract: (N + S) pull and snap together tightly.
- ⚡ Like poles repel: (N + N) or (S + S) push apart with invisible force.
📎 Magnetic vs Non-Magnetic
- 🧷 Magnetic materials: Made of iron, steel, or nickel (paperclips, steel screws, nails).
- 🪵 Non-magnetic materials: Wood, plastic, glass, rubber, paper, and copper coins.
